Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast earned enough in ticket sales over the weekend to become the 10th highest grossing film of all time at the international box office.
Disney announced Thursday that its reimagining of the beloved 1991 animated classic has crossed the $1 billion mark in worldwide ticket sales, maintaining its position as 2017’s top-earning picture as it settles into history as the highest-grossing live-action musical feature of all time, unadjusted for inflation.
